Thursday, February 16, Rev. R. H. Orr officiating. Mr. Simpson is
teaching school near Norcross, and his many friends wish for him and his bride,

Among the
divorce cases attracting the most attention was that of Mrs. Annie Mae Simpson
verses Tax Collector John T. Simpson. It was set for trial Tuesday, but a
compromise having been reached between the parties a consent verdict was
rendered. The defendant pays his wife and child the sum of $520 and her
attorney $75, which is in lieu of all alimony and they were each divorced.

Mr. John
Taylor Simpson of Norcross, GA., died Sunday, Sept. 18, 1966, after an extended
illness. Surviving are his aunts, Miss Ludie Simpson, Norcross; Miss
Lynette Smith, Atlanta; and Mrs. Joseph Schroeder, Wilmette, Ill.; Mrs. Milton
Hall, Atlanta; Mrs. Ben W. Noyes, Atlanta, and several cousins. Funeral plans
later by R. T. Patterson Funeral Home, Norcross.
