Mamie Ruth Ransom Allen, age 91 of Duluth
died Sunday, July 4, 1999. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m.
Tuesday July 6, 1999 at Bill Head Funeral Home, Duluth Chapel with the Senior
Ladies Sunday School Class of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church serving as Honorary
Escorts. Burial will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross. A
life long resident of Duluth, Mrs. Allen retired after many years of service
from Rich's Department Store as a sales clerk. She was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist
Church in Duluth for more than 45 years. She is survived by daughter and
son-in-law, Shirley and Harold Gravitt, Duluth; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby
and Sue Mcintyre, Duluth; stepdaughters, May Davenport, Smyrna; Barbara Plourde,
Charleston, SC (another stepdaughter - Jerry ? was mentioned during the
funeral service); sisters, Riba Paden, Lawrenceville; Irene Morrow, Buford; 9
