Obituary of Nena Miranell Simpson Brown

Nena Brown, 88, of Norcross, GA, died August 26, 2005.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 29th, at Crowell
Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home in Norcross. Interment will follow at
Peachtree Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from
5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Brown worked for 14 years for the
Gwinnett County School System as a cafeteria worker. She was a member of
Norcross First United Methodist Church, the Upper Room Sunday School class and a
faithful member of the Jet Set. Preceded in death by her husband, R. L. (Tom)
Brown, she is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Bobby and
Paulette Brown of Lawrenceville, Bill and Robin Brown of Sugar Hill, and Jimmy
Brown of Ballground; one daughter, Martha Wigginton of Norcross; brother, Freddy
Simpson of Mesquite, TX; three sisters, Juanita Edwards of Alpharetta, Nonie
Morton of Chamblee, and Ila Sorrells of Dallas; 8 grandchildren; 6
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to Norcross First United Methodist Church, 2500 Beaver
