Tanksley Cemetery, Lawrence County, Indiana
This cemetery is in Pleasant Run Township in Lawrence County. Patriots Abraham
Mitchell and Alexander Reid are buried here. This cemetery is located about
1/10 of a mile west of County Road 550 North and west of Donald Tanksley's
Home. This cemetery is located on the Donald Tanksley Property. Please contact

Take State Road 58 from Bedford east for about 9 miles to Heltonville, turn
left or North from SR 58 onto the Heltonville-Barlettville Road at the Heltonville
Elementary School, go 7/10 of a mile north where you come into a tee, turn left
or west on County Road 550 North or Gilgal Road, go 1/2 miles to the Donald
Tankslet Residence which will be on the right and the cemeter is about 1/10
mile west pf the residence.
