Elizabeth Simpson’s Gravestone

It seems no one is quite sure where the
Simpson grave site was in Stafford. Sometime about 1960 Elizabeth
Simson's stone was found lying near the Aquia Creek. Speculation had it
that some children had found it and carried it as far as the creek and laid it
down. Someone applied to the Aquia Church to have it placed in their
Cemetery. The stone was placed in the "Dipple" family section
of the Cemetery.
