Estate
Records of Moses Simpson
Contributed by Rhoda Fone
Moses Simpson was son of George & Susannah (Wheeler) Simpson.
He is not named in the will of his father, George Simpson since he died before
his father. The following documents show that Moses had one son, John
Simpson, and implies that his mother, Margaret “Peggy” remarried to Richard
Wheeler. Richard Wheeler was son of Drummond Wheeler and a first cousin
of Moses Simpson “his father being brother of Susannah (Wheeler) Simpson,
mother of Moses.” (See Mary Gregg’s research for more proof of the
marriage of Richard Wheeler to Margaret (Wisheart) Simpson.
