Heritage Hall is reported to be haunted by Elijah and Elizabeth's daughter, Virginia. She died in childbirth at age 22 and the
image below is an etching from a fireplace, which looks like a mother holding her child. The etching has been sanded but returns.
Heritage Hall in Madison, GA was originally built in 1811. Elijah Jones purchased the home in 1830 and added the front porch and
columns. He owned over 3000 acres and 114 slaves. Heritage Hall is now the property of the Morgan County Historical Society and is open to the public.
