Mary Belle Branscomb, 78, of Rentz, GA, went into the arms of her lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Hospice Savannah,
in Savannah, Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Lillian Branscomb and a brother, Joseph Sanford Branscomb.
Mary Belle's life and love was taking care of others. First were her brothers and sisters (when she was just a child herself)
and later her parents, relatives and friends. She was an active member at the Cadwell United Methodist Church in Cadwell, GA.
She also enjoyed activities at Buckhorn United Methodist Church in Dexter, GA. and Rentz Baptist Church in Rentz, GA.
She especially enjoyed preparing food for church pot luck dinners. (corn bread was her specialty).
Mary Belle had a quiet sense of humor--which was even better for its unexpectedness.
She is survived by two sisters, Jessie Guerra and Jane Swenson; a brother, Marvin Burl Branscomb; nine nieces and nephews and
also many cousins and friends. She was like a sister to her good friend, Doris Register. Mary Belle will be greatly missed and
remembered by all.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Rentz Baptist Church.
Burial: Rentz Cemetery.
